I don't really have a lot of experiences with breakups, and I don't think I've ever had the future in mind when I've made decisions that hurt, but I know that I have hurt my friends with some of my decisions, even though it wasn't my intention at all.

I guess sometimes you just have to do what's best, but I believe that as long as someone tries to repair the hurt they've caused in any way they can, that the person hurt will hopefully understand eventually.
