H-hey! Hey! Ow! [She tilts herself when he pulls so she moves and her scalp doesn't hurt as much. Her hand lets go of his hair, but she doesn't shut up.]

Moron! Jerk! Idiot!

Gah, hey! [Edward hastily lets go as well, backpedaling.] You were pulling first!

You pulled too hard! [She doesn't have a wrench on her, so Winry settles for punching him in the (flesh) arm.]

Sorry, sorry! Geez... [She punches surprisingly hard for an untrained girl.]

So... feeling better?

Wh- [Huh? Oh. ...Huh.] ...Yeah, actually.

Good. [She smiles at him and takes a few steps ahead.]

Should we go find Hohenheim then?

Yeah, if we have to. [Though he knows they do, for Ling's sake. He starts up after her, falling behind for a moment before picking up the pace to lightly bump her shoulder with his.

[Dated at some point after this. It's been eighteen days since she last spoke with Winry. Eighteen days. And before the cultural festival, ten more. 28 days in total with one conversation. A whole month. She'd missed four Sundays and this is the 5th Sunday. She groans now, and... still pissed off, still miserable but not really able to take this]

Do you hate me?

[Winry will let that question sit for a bit. It takes a while before she collects herself to answer, and when she does she'll be sitting in her room, on her bed, alone except for the company of Den.]

I don't hate you.
[Winry knew what hate felt like. Once hate burned her, and almost consumed her. She had wished for nothing but ultimate punishment for someone... This was not hate. She has never, and probably never will, feel hate towards Haruhi.]

I don't hate you either.

[Haruhi feels hate all the time. Or, well, what she thinks of as hate. Grudges, vicious vendettas. Petty things, really. The only time she felt overwhelming hatred was for Kamui and what he did to Kotori. For whoever put out those butterflies too, in more abstract. For the Malnosso, once upon a time when things were less complicated. Either way, she says that immediately.

...But now she knows she has to go more, but she doesn't know where]

[Winry is quiet when she speaks. She isn't whispering, but it isn't at her normal volume either. The room is quiet too. Den isn't snoring... yet, but his breathing is a little loud as he sleeps.]
