[...Wow, she really doesn't know, does she?]

Well, then--I hope you remember this face. So you can tie all this to this guy. That'd be peachy.

I don't understand why you can't figure it out! I already said it!

Just saying what you are doesn't explain anything!

Why do you want an explanation?!

I was- ugh, you know what? Forget it!

[He turns away as if to leave. He's better off waiting for Winry to go back to normal.]

[Action - June 15]

[School's out, so there's less to occupy Aang throughout the day. It had already been over a week since Sokka left on his mission, and he should be gone for another week more. Thoughts of his friend worried his mind until he found himself passing by the smithy. Aang decided to step in to see if anyone was in. It was real unlikely that Sokka would be back early, but maybe he could find someone to waste time talking to.]

[At that time Winry is quietly polishing some automail on the couch. This isn't anything special, just the spare for Ed for when she's repairing things. She's been trying to keep her mind off of "where is Sokka" and "when will he come back?"]

[Action]

[He quickly sees Winry and approaches. He doesn't want to bother her while she's working, but he thinks at least a quick greeting could be okay. He waves and smiles.]

Hey Winry!

[Action]

[She pulls her eyes from her work. When Winry looks up at Aang she gives him a smile that fades quickly.]

Hey Aang, what are you here for?

[Action]

I was just taking a walk around and thought I'd stop in. How are you?

All right, I guess. And you?

[Action]

I'm fine. Things have just been pretty quiet, lately. [The house has been a lot emptier. Even Roku's gone on a mission.]

[Action]

Yeah, I know what you mean.

[Even if her house has a family in it doesn't mean it can't be quiet. Every time Sokka is away from the smithy everything feels... empty.]

[Action]

You do?

[A pause. He's about to continue on, but he hesitates, looks down at the automail and puts on a sheepish grin.]

I don't want to keep bothering you if you're busy.
