[Winry looks at him quizzically. Envy? Did she know that one? It seems familiar. Give her a moment before-]

Well, yeah! When I was with Dr. Marcoh, Al, May, and all them. Dr. Marcoh caught him in a jar.

Oh, geez. No, he doesn't look like that all the time. Here- [He takes out his journal and scribbles out... well, basically this. Gloriously detailed as ever.] This is his real body. Or the body he uses the most, anyway.

[WHAT IS THAT HAIR? Winry frowns at... the... yeah no. That's not art. Okay, doodle. She frowns at the doodle.]

Think he'll try to cause trouble here? [He was a very nasty speaker in the jar- then again, she didn't pay too much attention to him then.]

[And yet it's surprisingly accurate. SHE'LL SEE SOMEDAY- although he's hoping not.

His expression is a mixture of so much right now- worry, irritation, anger, maybe even a little fear. This- this house, the people living here, they're all a part of his family now. Or as close as one can get to family. He doesn't want anything to happen to them. Not again.]

He says he won't, but I don't believe him. Winry, he- ...he's the one who killed Hughes.

[Winry stands frozen. Her hands tremble, but the rest of her is stiff and cold. The blond's face pales as she looks at Ed.]

[He winces slightly, glancing away in discomfort.]

...I know. But I'm gonna do whatever I can to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Y-yeah... okay...

And what about Greed? He... won't be a problem, right? [He didn't seem so bad, but she didn't know him well.]

Don't worry about Greed. He's... he's not a threat. Back in Amestris, he saved all of us on the Promised Day. He's an ally, even if he doesn't look it.

All right. He just said he wanted to get to know me better, so I just had to make sure.

Just tell him off if he weirds you out. He can be kind of a bastard, but he's not a bad guy.

If you say so. You do know him better than me.

He always says he doesn't like fighting women anyway, so...

[Shuffle, shuffle. Shrug.]

Anyway, can you tell Miss Gracia and Elicia? Not... you know, about Hughes, but... to keep an eye out for him. He knows what they look like.

[It's not fighting she'd be worried about, bro.]

Of course. Should I... keep the picture?

If you wanna use it for reference. [Another shrug. Envy's pretty distinct when he's not in disguise, so the reference isn't exactly a requirement.] It's up to you.

[She nods and takes the picture.]

I'll let them know.

Yeah, okay. [He takes a step back towards the door.] I'm gonna go try to find the lieutenant colonel. If he comes back before I find him, tell him I want to talk to him, will you?
