This post is for threading with Winry anytime and anywhere. It can be used for Action or the Ring feature on journals to get in contact with her for personal conversations.

[With the necklace still in her hand she pokes him in the chest.]

You think? That might not be sure enough. [Poke, poke.]

[markofthewise]

[Flustered a little, but he doesn't back down. Even if he is a bit red in the face.]

Okay... I'm sure! Definitely sure!

[installing]

[She laughs, and then presents the necklace back to him in her hand.]

So tell me, how important does this necklace make us to each other?

[markofthewise]

[Ahh. His eyes fell a little, a tiny bit embarrassed. Yet a smile tugged at his face anyway. There was a part in him that really, really wanted to see the owner of this necklace.]

Well. We'd be engaged.

[installing]

[Her eyes grow a little wide as she stares at the necklace. Winry's cheeks color before she looks back up at him.]

Engaged, huh?
[That's pretty serious. Especially since it seems she lives with another guy. However that other guy could just be a friend from home, and she was helping him take care of the little girl that lived there.]

[markofthewise]

[He nods, finally looking back up at her.]

I'm not sure about the other stuff the note said about me. But I am about this. About the necklace being important.

[installing]

[She smiles up at him, and offers him the necklace.]

I trust you. [Her hand is before him with the necklace displayed in her palm. Take it. Put it around her neck. Isn't that what a guy is supposed to do?]

[markofthewise]

[He looks down at the necklace and hesitates before putting it on her.]

I think I should at least know your name first.

The name is Winry. Princess Winry.

[markofthewise]

[He gapes slightly at that.]

P-princess!? I'm engaged to-- ohhhh.

[That. That makes sense.]

So that's why I'm "Lord" of the Hunt.

[installing]

Wait, so does that mean our cards say we match up? [Sort of? Cool! She's more confident about this now.]

[markofthewise]

I guess so. I mean, that would make me Lord Thunderaxe, after all.

[Wow. So this is really it. All the other ones did feel wrong. But this... this feels right.]

[installing]

So ready to be engaged again?

[markofthewise]

I'd say 'never been readier', but my memory isn't very reliable.

{All the same, he's undoing the necklace and stepping forward. Around and behind her neck.]

[Winry laughs at that, and makes sure her hair isn't in the way of his view.]

Well, I'm ready.

[markofthewise]

[He clasps the necklace behind her and then steps back, admiring the work. He rather thinks the bright yellow sun against the ocean waves works perfectly with her golden hair and sea blue eyes. Yes. Meant to be.]

It's perfect.

[installing]

[Winry adopts a sort of demure expression as she touches the necklace with her fingers, and looks at the ground with a blush on her cheeks.]

Only the best for a Princess, huh?

[markofthewise]

Right. I mean... it matches you perfectly.

[Okay, so. This is probably where they should kiss, right? So that's what he'll do. Try to do, anyway.]

[installing]

[She tries saying, "It does?" however his attempt at a kiss muffles her, and it probably ends up getting really weird.]

[markofthewise]

[Yeah, it is kind of weird. He pulls back, sheepishly.]

Uh. Maybe we should... try that again?

[installing]

Yeah, this time try not interrupting me while I talk.

[markofthewise]

Right. Of course, I um. [He shifts a bit and rubs his left shoulder.] Um. Go ahead and say what you wanted to.

[installing]

It doesn't matter.

[She leans in, making the kiss slower this time. Hopefully they won't screw it up.]

[markofthewise]

[Right. He leans in for a real kiss. The experimental and somewhat awkward kiss, but with a good attempt at passionate.

He's not so bad at it.]

[installing]

[Winry returns the passionate kiss, and frankly she's not so bad either. She doesn't seem to be used to the roughness of kissing a guy though. Whoops.]
