The point is... I'm frustrated, okay! [She's sure it sounds dumb to Winry. She's sure that she doesn't understand why she's still mad. Or why she's mad that she's mad. She probably thinks she's being unreasonable. She stirs the tortilla soup] Ugh. So what are we going with?

You said you were making some kind of soup?

Tortilla soup. You've had burritos and tacos with me before, right? It's basically that in soup form. Do you have jack cheese?

[Fine, she'll answer. Even if she still wants her answer]

Taco soup? We might have some cheese in the fridge.

Yeah, taco soup. Crushed chips too.

the chips won't get soggy and weird?

You put the cheese and chips on top. The idea is you eat them before they get too soggy.

You make this often?

I make it often enough. [okay not really, but she's skilled, okay.]

Do we even have all the ingredients?

You didn't have salsa, which I why I'm adding in components of that manually.

You know how to make salsa all on your own?

[Sure she knows about Haruhi's talents, but that doesn't mean she can't still be impressed.]

I know enough to improvise. [Come on, it's not that hard, okay! ...Well it's still not perfect, but it's enough for this sort of situation. Not to mention,the soup isn't the focus here. She's just doing that to occupy her hands.]
