♨ 1 Apple Pie + Eighteen Apples and Cinnamon | Action/Voice ♨

[Back dated to the 11th.

Four. Four birthdays in Luceti. Honestly none of them have ever been very exciting, but maybe it's better that way. Calling attention to age, especially now that she's 20, is a little of a scary thought. Instead she'll act like it's a normal day for most of it. Taking her dog for a walk in the late morning, spending time in the smithy, and even grocery shopping a bit. Eventually sometime in the afternoon, before dinner, she'll ask the village a question:]

A question for everyone: How do you feel about growing older here? Whether you already have or not. Is it scary to think about?
[Families? Relationships? Are they even a good idea? Despite the fact those are things she wants.]

I was fifteen when I first came here. I stuck around for about a year before I got sent back for about a week. Came back fifteen again, turned sixteen a second time. When I got sent back home again, I went back to being fifteen. More than a year passed back there, while only a few hours passed here.

If I hadn't had my age messed with, I'd be physically sixteen with an extra three years worth of memories.

Which is why I'm glad I don't have to deal with it. Growing up's natural, so why fear it?

Well, it's not that I can't see why it'd be a little scary. Especially in a place like this.

But I mean, I think it's all about how you approach it. If you think of it as something to fear, then of course it'll feel that way. Luceti's definitely got its rough spots.

Hey, don't sweat it. I might not know all the details, but I'd say your fears are pretty justified. Being away from home for so long is a pretty scary thought. Especially in a place as unpredictable as this.

I just try to take things as they come. Spend as much time with the people that matter, that way I have plenty of memories to hold onto if they do leave.

It probably doesn't sound like much, and I'm sure it doesn't work for everybody. Heck, there's bound to be others here who handle it better than me.
